About Brunswick Veterinary Clinic

As the area’s first veterinary facility, we are proud to be one of the few area veterinarians that remain privately owned. Our clinic had been a fixture on upper Maine Street for 75 years, starting off as a large animal-only practice but has since transitioned to companion animal health. In 2023 we moved the practice to an amazing location on Baribeau Drive, less than a mile down the road. Our environment offers the unique opportunity to work and train with an experienced team that provides excellent patient care.

Some of the services our clients have become accustomed to are (but are not limited to): Wellness care, Injury/Illness treatment, a variety of surgical services, canine reproduction, ultrasonography, physical therapy and rehabilitation for canines and felines, acupuncture for canines, digital radiology, digital dental radiology and Idexx in-house lab testing. We are also the location of a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Sarah Blackwood, who runs her practice (Animal Eye Clinic of Maine) at our location.
